Steve earned his BA from Wesleyan University and his Juris Doctor from the Northeastern University School of Law. He also holds a Masters Degree in Education from Harvard University and a Masters Degree in the Law of Taxation from New York University School of Law. He is a sought after expert on topics concerning personal finance, negotiation, and the ethics of financial services. The topics of Steve’s writing and lectures include professionalism, annuities, negotiation, fiduciary duty, and economic theory. Steve has spoken before various groups including the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), Pennsylvania Bar Institute, American Association of Medical Colleges, Citigroup, DuPont, and various corporations, schools, and associations.
Steve has taught at the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania since 1994. He has also been a visiting professor at the ALBA Graduate Business School in Athens, Greece. He has won the Wharton School’s William G. Whitney Award for outstanding teaching six times. In addition to teaching, Steve has written numerous articles on topics within the field of wealth management. His book entitled “Negotiating Your Investments: Use Proven Negotiation Methods to Enrich Your Financial Life” was published in 2014.
Steve is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the New Hampshire Bar, and the District of Columbia Bar.
Suzanne is highly skilled attorney whose previous work experience includes a clerkship in the State of Delaware Family Court and years of practice as an Assistant District Attorney for the Child Support Enforcement Unit in Philadelphia County. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Emory School of Law.
She has been active in community issues through various volunteer positions and as a board member on several not for profit organizations.
Her primary interest is in helping clients navigate their way through a potentially confusing financial landscape.
